A shop floor takes lifts, shelving, rolling tool boxes and a lot of sweeping. It has to be flat, smooth and hard. PressCrete pours interior floors for shops, garages and commercial buildings, and finishes them with a power trowel.
The power trowel finish
Once the slab starts to set, a machine with spinning blades works the top. It closes the surface, hardens it and leaves it smooth. Our photos show one going across a new interior slab. The result is a floor that is easy to clean and holds up to daily use.
Drains and slopes
If the floor needs to drain, we set the slope in the forms before the pour, so water runs to the drain instead of pooling by the door.
Inside a building that is already up
We pour floors inside framed buildings and shops. If a truck cannot back up to the door, a pump truck carries the concrete in.

What is a power trowel finish?
A power trowel is a machine with spinning blades that smooths and hardens the top of a slab once it starts to set. It leaves a floor that is flat, smooth and easy to keep clean. Shops, garages and warehouses get this finish.
Can you pour a floor inside a building that is already up?
Yes. We pour floors inside framed buildings and shops. If a truck cannot back up to the door, we bring a pump.
How flat will the floor be?
Flat enough for shelving, lifts and rolling tool boxes. If the floor needs a slope to a drain, we set that in the forms before the pour.
